I do not appreciate minding my own business and, thanks to the handy-dandy Gmail notifier that gives me the title and first line of each e-mail message, seeing a string of perversities pop up on my screen at any given time. No, I DON'T want to see pictures of [insert name of random ethnic group here] [insert name of anatomical orifice here] [insert bizarre sexual act here] [insert body fluid here].

If I want porn, I'll read some HP fanfic.

Yeah, it's a pain, isn't it? We had a bunch coming to our family's email address with STREAMING VIDEO. We liked having the preview screen on for email, but had to turn it off just to keep our kids from getting an early and inappropriate video sex education.

Do you have Spam Blocker and is it turned on "High"? I use multiple e-mail addresses so, for example, I have one that I use ONLY to sign-up at sites or for online orders, etc. The one that is for personal e-mails, I have it on high spam blocker and every night (or week I think) they send me a list of who/what was blocked. If a friend is accidentally blocked, they give that person the option to request to be unblocked. Spam mail wouldn't know to do that since it's automatic. As a result, I have spam and porn-free mail. :p
(Sorry if I explained all this and you know all about it - just wanted to make a suggestion). :D
