I know I've posted very little here lately that isn't related to movies or Veronica Mars, so here goes:
* I'm getting a new office at work. Unfortunately that means moving all of my junk into a temp space that I'm sharing with another person for the two (or six) weeks it takes the drywall people to build the new offices. It will be nice, though, at the end of it, to have a door.
* The Nashville Film Festival starts this Thursday, but I'm not going all out to see everything like I did last year. I hope to see a few films, though. Most notably An American Haunting which is based on the story of Tennessee's own Bell Witch legend.
* Nothing on the job front, but I'm going to hold off until after summer before I start seriously looking for another full-time job. It's just too complicated to leave where I am now in the spring and summer. Still looking for a supplemental part-time job, though.
* Have been enjoying the heck out of Veronica Mars, but I find I'm (thankfully) not as into the fandom aspect as I am with, errr, other things. I do have lots of shiny new icons, though, and I love the one for this post in particular. One of my favorite moments ever. Don't get me wrong, I love hot-and-bothered!LoVe, but that little high-five was just perfect.
* My aunt sent me a bunch of old pictures, including several of my mom and of me when I was a wee thing. Many of these are pictures I've never seen. I may scan some of them and upload them eventually, but I can't do that from this computer.
* I took another step toward Lumos travel plans this weekend by buying my plane ticket to Salt Lake City. (Yes, I'm aware that Lumos is in Las Vegas, but I'm making a stop on the way for some quality time with Bill Shakespeare and a few supa-evil Utahns). Just a little over three months!!!!
* Am slowly making my way through To Say Nothing of the Dog. I finally found the funny streak around the end of chapter 2/beginning of chapter 3 ("Samurai? No, that was Lady Schrapnell. ... Nemesis? No, that was Lady Schrapnell.").
Well, that'll do for now, I guess.
