You're gonna be bothered by how cool I am.

This is the second of four weeks in which I am only working two and a half days. Last week I had the funeral in Ohio. This week everyone is off Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving holidays. Next week I'm leaving mid-Wednesday for my vacation in Texas and won't get back till the middle of the next week. While all this time off might sound like a good thing, the harsh reality is that I have just as much work to do, but now have to complete it in half the time.

I am going to have to ground myself from Y!M, FAP and LJ until I can complete my tasks. I suppose I could keep up after hours at the library, but I am determined to finish Lord of the Rings by the end of the week so that when I get back from the hell that is Thanksgiving with the aunts and uncles I can watch the extended edition DVDs on Monday and Tuesday night before heading out for TX (for reasons I won't go into now).

Speaking of LOTR, I got through the Battle of the Pelennor Fields last night and bawled my eyes out. Between Theoden's last stand, the ROXingness of Eowyn, the despair of Eomer, and the grand entrance of Aragorn & Co., I was completely at a loss. I know I'm not getting nearly as much as I should from the books since I'm still getting used to Tolkien's style, but the last few chapters I have read have simply taken my breath away.
