You're gonna be bothered by how cool I am.

I wasted most of last night (that I should have spent working on someone else's community assessment project) watching vh1's "I Love the 70s - 1972" instead. It's odd how I remember things that were hip three years before I was even born. Kermit's impression of Marlon Brando as The Godfather was hilarious, as was the observation that there are worse things you could find in your bed upon waking up than a horse's head . . . like Mickey Rooney . . . naked. Commentary on Sea Monkeys followed by commentary on the pioneer 70s porn film Deep Throat was just surreal, though nonetheless hysterical.

I'm back to just lurking on the DT (today, at least), and it's back to boring. They're discussing what "bashing" really means, and H/Hers insist that just because they point out a character's faults doesn't mean they are bashing them . . . oh, alright, him, did anyone think I was talking about the bashing of anyone but Ron? It really bothers me that there are all these "theories" and all this so-called canon evidence that Ron is going to turn out to be evil. It just seems a little convenient that all the people who subscribe to this theory appear to be people whose shipping preference would benefit from its becoming canon.

I'm currently at work on a customized mood theme, but as I am fairly technologically retarded, it looks as if it's going to take a while. Oh well. It gives me something to do between now and the release of the next HP movie.
