"Picture it ... Sicily..."

In much sadder news, Estelle Getty died this morning.  She was my favorite Golden Girl.  When I was in the 8th grade, The Golden Girls was actually a cool show to watch.  My three friends and I each named ourselves after one of the characters, and we all wanted to be Sophia.

She played lots of memorable TV roles and made a few movies, including Mannequin and, sadly, Stop or My Mom Will Shoot.  She was a great dame of the small screen, and she'll be sorely missed.

But we'll always have Sicily.

Yeah, they mentioned it on the national news, and now they're talking about her on Entertainment Tonight.
