I think you've convinced me to see the movie - I've heard so many conflicting things that I worried I'd just be upset if I saw it, and it sounds like that's not the case.

If you're looking for a piece of fascist propaganda and feel as if you've found it with this film ... well, I just feel sorry for you. I don't mean that to be dismissive at all; I just can't fathom the mindset that sees negative where there's so much positive.

I do think people can point out the negative they see without disregarding the positive - I have seen that from some reviewers; that they loved it but were disappointed with X portrayal.

I should edit to clarify. I meant seeing *only* negative. I've seen a lot of reviews that are little more than rants with only the slightest, almost grudging acknowledgment that - if you can settle for such things - it has a certain amount of entertainment value and nothing more.

In my case my review was the negative simply because everyone else was pointing out all the positive. I could have been one of the gajillion just in love with it.
