But this should scare the badonkasnot out of everyone. I'm sure Senator Clinton will be THRILLED [/sarcasm] to know that she has the informal backing of Teh Coultergeist. You may not have my vote on Tuesday, Hillary, but you definitely have my sympathy.

Of course, it's very likely that Ms. Coulter knows exactly how much damage she could potentially do to Clinton's campaign by saying something like this and that this is all an elaborate plot to torpedo her chances at the nomination. OR she could just be targeting McCain without much caring about any impact she might have on Clinton. But when you're dealing with Teh Coultergeist ... who knows, really?

I'm more of the, yeah, she's just trying to alienate potential Clinton supporters. But fortunately, I don't think anyone's really paying attention to Coulter anymore.

See, I'm convinced that everything Ann Coulter does these days is just elaborate reverse psychology. So I don't think she's trying to torpedo Hillary's nomination as much as she's trying to get Dems to take a second look at McCain.

Of course, that assumes there's some underlying logic, which is a huge "if."

LOL. Hillary is like the ultimate bogeyman (bogeywoman?) for a lot of conservatives, so I can't imagine this is anything but a shot at McCain. "See John, you're so not good enough for me I would even vote for that traitorous monstrosity Clinton over you!!" Considering that Ann Coulter is on record saying things would be better if women couldn't vote, I feel pretty confident I don't have to take her "backing" of Hillary too seriously.

But anyway, the only people who listen to her were never, ever, ever going to vote for Hillary anyway, so I can't really imagine how this could do any damage to the Clinton campaign. Coulter is like the Weekly World News of politics — so over the top it's hard not to laugh.

Hasn't Ann Coulter crawled back under her rock YET? Sheesh.

I have to admit that I find Ann Coulter hysterically funny, in a god-what-an-idiot sort of way. Whenever she appears on TV, my husband and I both stop in our tracks and stare at the television with expectant grins on our faces, because we just know she's going to have us laughing at her within a minute. And she never disappoints.

I'd be extremely annoyed/alarmed by her if more people took her seriously, but every conservative I know (and I live in east Texas, so I know a LOT of conservatives) thinks she's a joke and/or an embarrassment. So I can just laugh at her. And oh, she's gives us so, so, so much to laugh about.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to get 'Coultergeist'.
