Don't be ashamed of yourself. We were getting snarxy way back when we only had the GoF (Guarantee of Futility (cause they'd already lost)). Participating in debate following OoTP (Ordinance of True Patheticness (on their part)) makes them more infuriating, especially in consideration of the Katie Couric Interview of Doom, which pretty much guaranteed that they have to claim the Goddess a liar. We've all been bad once or twice. So long as Falcons fly I donb't think it will stop.

*claps* Just had to mention how much I love your GoF and OotP - and, of course, your agreement that JKR is a Goddess ;)

Also, connielane, I'm still encouraging you and others to leave the DT - at the end, we'll be right, and that's all that'll matter. Not a trillion different interpretations of the same scene. JKR's opinion is the only one that counts. That's probably why I went ahead and joined Pumpkin Pie - I'm completely confident R/Hr will be canon and so don't think about PP as anything more than a fanon ship, like my weird Cho/Ginny support. To me, it just seems the mature thing to do will be to cut it off and don't come back - at least for a while.

But, I must say, the 'big brains' comment deserved snarkiness.
