I just wish it didn't feel so competitive, but perhaps that's only my perception.
I never felt anything really like that prior to HBP and DH, but I could see it becoming more of an issue now that JKR has finally written the canon that discredits our common enemy the ship that would've broken them both, H/Hr. Now that the H/Hr point is moot, I guess it could leave a competitive opening for the CanonPairings, but that seems like it'd be kind of silly, doesn't it? I think JKR kind of made it clear that Harry wasn't looking for something like a normal life now, not to continue being some kind of distant hero, and Ginny is an important part of that.
