Bruno Kirby passed away Monday from leukemia-related complications. He was 57. Kirby played several memorable roles - Lt. Hauk in Good Morning, Vietnam, the wagon-wheel-table-owning Jess in When Harry Met Sally, and Ed from City Slickers among them.
He was one of those underappreciated actors who didn't play flashy roles, but always made the scenes they were in better. It makes me surprisingly sad to think that he won't do that for another scene ever again.
