connielane at 09:44am on 31/07/2006 under birthdaysYes, yes, I'm still alive and I know I've totally fallen down on my post-a-day thing that I started so dutifully in Utah. However internet issues and mucho busy-ness have kept me from posting at length as I'd like to do. I'm still in Vegas and having a lovely time. Today is our last full day here and we're braving The Strip, for "Star Trek: The Experience" and other sights.
But I wanted to take this opportunity to wish a very happy birthday to two people who have added immeasurably to my life.

I'm sorry I missed saying goodbye to you yesterday! :( I had such an amazing time hanging out with our group and meeting you too. Hope you have a great day on The Strip - drink plenty of water!
A slightly related side note - the guy at Enterprise *just* found out about the HP convention when I returned our car and he's a huge fan (and lives right there!) Same with this lady's sister so they were both bummed but the guy was excited about the Star Trek con next month. Your comment reminded me of that. :D Have fun!
