You're gonna be bothered by how cool I am.

First, because it can't be said enough, V For Vendetta hits theaters this weekend. Tonight, to be precise. I'm going to a 10pm showing at IMAX (in addition to dragging a couple of hostages to a matinee on Saturday), and I was amazed to see that a couple of tonight's screenings have already sold out. No less amazing to me was a review I read where someone didn't like the movie because they disagreed with the message, but they were still urging people to see it because it's such a thoughtful movie. *wonders if I should get to the lineup early*

Second, I still have not heard about the job I applied for back in February. This company is notoriously slow about hiring decisions when they're not hiring from within, and they pretty much wait until the last minute that will allow the prospective employee time to give notice at their current job. And they only start people at the beginning of pay cycles, so I'm reasonably sure I'll hear something either at the end of this week or at the end of the month.

Third, I've been using my new default icon for a few days, but it bears pointing out. After seven years of waiting, Josh/Donna finally sails on The West Wing! :D

Fourth, as soon as I leave work I am going in search of a basketball watching party where I can see how my Belmont boys do against UCLA. W00t!

Fifth ... there is no fifth.
