I got rhythm . . .

It has recently been announced that for our church's Dinner Theater this winter, we're doing the Gershwin musical comedy Crazy For You. I am probably not - err - physically suited to play the main female part (Polly), but I am SO going for it. Polly gets all the good songs (Someone to Watch Over Me, Embracable You AND I Got Rhythm). Unfortunately for our recreation budget, none of the costumes we have in storage are appropriate for the time period.

But the auditions are a month away, I think, so I'm preparing myself.

Whiny post incoming...

Well, I've come down with the crud yet again. I really wish I could take a day and just rest, but I've got too much to do at work PLUS I have to work at the theater tomorrow night, and since I only have 10 hours at that job this week, I really should work if I'm not absolutely dead. It'll probably be busy, too, since Matrix Revolutions came out today.

I hate being sick. It was way more fun when I was in school and being sick got me out of every responsibility I had for at least 24 hours. :p

I'm awaiting word back from a DeviantArt user to see if I can use her artwork as an avatar on FAP.

Grrrrr! I hate when people knock on the office door after hours and expect to just be let in. What would they do if I was at home like I should be in my condition? I guess they'd just have to find somebody with a key or just go away.

*sigh* I must tear myself away from the computer. I wouldn't be here at all if it weren't for having to give my dad a ride home from choir. (I should be at choir as well, but I'd rather not blow snot all over everyone. Eeeewwwwww.)
