who actually likes the PoA pics that USA Today printed in today's paper? I couldn't believe all the uproar over them. First of all, I think both pictures we've seen of David Thewlis have just caught him at incredibly bad moments.
And I happen to think that this picture is excellent! I don't really mind if they changed that scene a bit, and it certainly doesn't ruin the integrity of the plot to make him awake instead of unconscious. It's not like it would be out of character for him to try to protect the three kids. Plus, I think we're all missing the greatest part of that picture - and indeed the first thing I noticed about it . . .
Now we finally have a picture of the trio in which Harry and Hermione are not standing next to each other. :p Who knows what kind of clinging Hermione and Ron are engaged in behind Snape's full-body shield? ;)
I was, however, highly annoyed that they just blurted out the werewolf spoiler. But these pictures only make me more feverish to see the trailer in a week! Here's hoping that live action Lupin looks better than still photograph Lupin.
In other news, I am still waiting for news (that was supposed to be disclosed today) about whether I will get to go to Butt-Numb-A-Thon 5 in Austin. The Alamo Drafthouse website has the event on their calendar, and they have the promo poster up, with the slogan "This year, you're going to bleed" under a shot of the famous "chair" from the dinner scene in the REAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
And I am going to see Love Actually tonight.
