my first post: (September 2, 2003) The explanation of my username.
two years ago: (Nov 4, 2001) I had no blog or LJ. I was wuxing at KMart in the cash office. I was reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the first time, and looking forward to the movie. However, since I hadn't yet gotten to the train scene, I was wondering who in the heck the red-head and the girl were from the trailer. :p
18 months ago: (May 4, 2002) Still no LJ. I had had my job at the church for 3 weeks, and IIRC we were having a farewell luncheon for our departing Education Assistant at Loews that day.
a year ago: (Nov 4, 2002) Still no LJ. Looking forward to CoS movie, and still reveling in the fact that my old high school band had won their big contest. I had started to work some extra hours at KMart, and was already sick of it. I had just gotten word that I was going to be able to go to BNAT 4 in Austin. (And in a week and a half, my car was going to be stolen off the interstate).
6 months ago: (May 4, 2003) Still no LJ. Hmmmm...it was 47 days till OotP. The SQ thread of "Useless & Possibly Untrue Harry Potter Facts" was about to finish up with #1087. (Man, I miss that thread!) It was "Victory Sunday" at my church, after we finished up our "Door to the Future" campaign.
3 months ago: (Aug 4, 2003) Still no LJ. Made an SQ post reiterating that there WOULD be Quidditch in the PoA movie, despite the absence of hottie Sean Biggerstaff. I made 8 FAP posts (this was the day "bicker bicker bicker" became part of the DT lexicon).
1 month ago: (LJ - Oct 4, 2003) practically orgasmic over School of Rock; I had also just started reading Northanger Abbey.
yesterday: laughed my rear end off doing the 1980s meme and squeed about McGavock winning C.O.C. for the 10th time.
