I just had to link these, because they made my day. Doctor Who opening credits, by way of...
Dynasty (LOL love the "soap opera" touch of including the Doctor's daughter),
Dallas (my personal fave, mostly because it includes pretty much everyone - oh, and I heart Dallas),
Friends ("Featuring 'The TARDIS'"),
and The Odd Couple (inspired by "The Lodger").
There are TONS more, as you'll see if you follow any of those links. I like the idea of the Scooby-Doo one, but it suffers from lack of K-9. Man, I miss when shows had big, grandiose opening credits like they did in the '80s.
Oh gosh, I haven't posted about "Closing Time," have I? Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT! I wish we could see Craig more often. The "villain of the week" plot was a bit meh, but loved Craig's "Papa Bear" awesomeness. I could hear the ovaries exploding all over the internets whenever the Doctor handled Alfie. Doctor With Kids is perhaps my favorite Doctor, and we got a lot of that last week, not just with Stormy but the kids at the store and at the end. And dude, the Doctor/Craig-ness was AMAZING.
The last few minutes were HEART-CRUSHING! Look at River's face and how happy she is when Kovarian says she knows about the Doctor! Like most everyone else I've seen, I always suspected that it was River who killed him, even before it was confirmed in "Let's Kill Hitler," but I always thought it was the little girl, because of course she's the only one we'd seen in the space suit.
