Toy Story 3 is another one of those movies where I find myself asking, at random moments spent not watching it, "WHY am I not watching this RIGHT NOW?!" So naturally I was anxious to see it again, and I did this morning, well aware and excited that I'd be seeing it with a bunch of kids.

There's a trade-off to the matinee experience, of course. You have to endure kids whose parents haven't taught them how rude it is to talk during the movie. You also have families who apparently could not care less about showing up well after the movie's start time. But you also might get a moment like this.

In the final scene, Andy has decided to give his old toys to Bonnie, the little girl whose mom works at the day care and who owns Buttercup, Mr. Pricklepants, Trixie, Dolly, and Chuckles. We've seen what an adorable kid she is, but Andy tells her that he wants to be sure the toys have someone really special to take care of them.

At this point, a little girl a few seats from me bounced and said "She's special!"

Reader, I melted. And cried harder than I had at anything during the rest of the movie.
