Right off the bat, tonight's episode hit my high school nostalgia button. The gathering at Schue's house reminded me very much of meetings we used to have in band and color guard. Though ours usually started as more of the "Come to Jesus" variety, there was always a point where we just went around the room and tearfully expressed what we loved about performing together. We always needed at least one of those per season, because as awesome as winning was, it meant nothing if our hearts weren't in it.

Now, to the spoilers...
- Say what you want about Will's competency at his personal relationships, his affection for the Glee kids is kind of beautiful.
- "To Sir, With Love" was a great moment, and I suspect that a lot of those tears were not acting. That was the moment, though, that the lip syncing got on my nerves. Because you can't sing like that when you're crying, man. I know from LOTS of experience. :P
- I know underdogs are the ones we're supposed to root for, and I do root for the McKinley kids, but I have a hard time hating Vocal Adrenaline. My high school band was so much like that (we never won Nationals, but we won just about everything else). Just because you're not an underdog doesn't mean you don't want it just as badly, if not more so.
- Good for Emma, growing a backbone and moving on. I heard that they're looking to cast her dentist boyfriend for next season (ETA: Supposedly John frickin' STAMOS is in talks for this role!!), so that kiss from Will is probably not going to make much of a difference in the short term. I love the idea of Will and Emma together, but not like they each are now. Will needs to learn how to do the relationship thing, since he got married so young and never really had to date as a grown up.
- Obviously, there was no real suspense about whether the Glee Club would be allowed to continue, since the show is renewed not just for next season but a third. But I love how it was Sue who made that possible, mostly because she got a taste of being a loser in the judge's room. I'm also glad she put the kibosh on her blackmail of Figgins in exchange for respite for the club.
