connielane at 04:25pm on 04/05/2010 under lostSince there are a scant 19 days left until Lost takes its final bow, and since today is Lostnesday, I thought now would be a good time to start taking a look at some of the high points of the series (says the woman who only started watching in January).
You can keep your Skate and Jate (though I still kind of enjoy Skate) - THIS is the epic love story of the show, as far as I'm concerned. These two FINALLY got the reunion fans had been waiting for since the end of Season 4 (and which the characters themselves had been waiting for for more than three years). They've had a very rocky road, from even before the Oceanic crash, and this almost wordless clip sums them up pretty well, I think.
You remember, but I'll set the stage - Sun has made arrangements to ditch Jin at the airport and leave him for good. He's not the man he was when they married, and his working for her father has infected their marriage. She's been having an affair with another man (though that wasn't established until a later episode), and she wants to be free from Jin and from her powerful father. But after a simple, affectionate gesture, she realizes she loves her husband more than she thought and joins him on the ill-fated flight to Los Angeles. *sniff*
Dude, Jin's hair is SO SHORT there!
