David Carradine
December 8,1936 - June 3, 2009

Kung Fu star David Carradine, best known to yours truly as the eponymous Bill in Kill Bill, was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room yesterday. Sources are calling it an "accidental" suicide, whatever that means. Excuse me while I spend the evening with Bill and temporarily restore my Kill Bill mood theme.

And maybe it's in poor taste, but I'll leave you with this scene from the movie - one of the greatest death scenes on film and the least violent, and most dignified and emotional, death of these two films in particular. It's, ah, spoilery I guess, but if you know the title of the movie you know this is coming. :P Rest in soft peace, Mr. Carradine, and there remain.
