connielane at 02:21am on 21/10/2008You are hereby declared AWESOME for telling MSNBC viewers about Godwin's Law and proposing a similar jurisimprudence law (let's call it Maddow's Law, shall we?) to describe what's going on with the McCain campaign and the charges of Socialism/Communism/Bolshevikism/OMG!WELFARESTATE.
Dear John McCain,
Taxes ARE redistributing the wealth and using it as our leaders see fit. Period. No matter who's doing it or how the money is being redistributed. Yes, it counts as redistribution when it's rich people getting the benefit of it.
Dear Sarah Palin,
While I thought it was pretty cool of you to "raise the roof" on SNL the other night ("All the mavericks in the house put your hands up ... all the plumbers in the house pull your pants up!"), I thought it was decidedly not cool of you to compare Obama's tax breaks to Welfare.
