Gacked from another stranger,
cynthia_black, here is
1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Joined an online fandom. And what an incredible ride it has been.
2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I've given up making them in the first place. It just sets you up for failure, doesn't it?
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Define "close" (curse the HP fandom!). Anywho, a couple people I know gave birth, but I wouldn't call us "close."
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My grandfather.
5. What countries did you visit?
Errrr . . . I visited Texas twice. Does that count?
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
A sudden surge of creativity.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June 21st - OotP release date (yes, pathetic; I know)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Moving two households into one house (over the course of a month - it was an epic task)
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not having the stamina to keep two jobs when it would have helped me to procure a much desired personal computer.

Only my annual crud.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I splurged and bought the FOTR and TTT extended edition DVDs.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
The heathens who responded to a screening of Mel Gibson's The Passion with the utmost awe and reverence.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My own, at times.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Living expenses, movies, and two trips to Texas.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Butt-Numb-A-Thon 5 and meeting online friends in person.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
Coldplay's "Clocks."

Writing and exercise

21. What happened to this one?
Fred and George Weasley stole it.
22. Did you fall in love in 2003?

29. What did you want and not get?
A laptop computer (but it's my own fault).
30. What was your favourite film of this year?
