I was just about to come post this. I didn't want to believe it was true until I saw it on both MSNBC and CNN. I'm shattered right now.

My son came in and told me he'd just seen it on the news at my mom's, and I laughed. I went to google to show him he'd been confused and it was true /: His poor family.

Yes, it is very sad and disturbing news. He was a beautiful man (even if you didn't so much think so!) and a very fine, interesting actor. I can't help thinking of the movies he won't make and the roles he won't play, but I know I should be thinking of his friends and family.

This is one of those things where words just don't cover it. I'm still trying to process it, and I don't think it has fully sunk in yet. I keep hoping it's a rumor, but when I see it on CNN and MSNBC it's hard not to accept that it's true.

Currently, I'm in between knowing that this news is true and wanting it not to be true. This is a complete shocker!!!
There's no real reason to it.

(Brad Renfro's death last week was a shock as well, but at least he had a known drug abuse history.)

I honestly didn't realize he was only 28. I can't say that I was a fan of his work, but my heart breaks for his daughter.

Like "divinemum" above, I can't call myself a fan. If I saw him in any movies, I don't remember. But I'm still very saddened by this -- any life cut short that young is terrible, and to leave a young daughter behind is even worse.

I really hope it was accidental.
