*waits for groans to die down* :P
As the 2008 US Presidential (and Congressional) election draws nearer, an idea for a new film series has presented itself. You guessed it (or maybe you didn't, if you weren't trying) -- from now until Election Day, I'm going to post about political movies. I'll try to do a post a day, because there's more than enough to choose from (I made a list of about 50 political films), but I'm not going to kill myself to keep to that. My days are just busier lately. But I hope this is something you can enjoy, no matter what your political persuasion.
Having said that, I should offer apologies in advance to the non-Americans on my flist, but most of these will obviously be related to the politics of Washington DC, with probably one or two exceptions (if I get to them both).
And I'm going to start with something that's not even a movie, but I can't possibly do a series on politics without giving it a very special mention.
( What's next? )
