The writers who met yesterday in NY and LA gave what is being characterized as "resounding support" for the deal that was agreed upon between the WGA leadership and the AMPTP (found here at CNN). The entirety of the WGA membership is being given 48 hours to decide, after which a vote will be taken regarding whether to end the strike (meaning it could be as early as Wednesday when they return to work). After that, the deal will be officially ratified by the membership in a couple of weeks.

So, again ... it's not absolutely done, but it's very, very close to being so.
