Excellent trailer (though perhaps a little too spoilery). I love the changes in tone - from the excitement of the beginning, to the light. comic stuff in the middle to the intense finish. 63 days!

Robert Wise died yesterday. He directed a plethora of great films - The Day the Earth Stood Still, I Want to Live!, Odds Against Tomorrow, West Side Story, The Haunting, The Sound of Music, The Sand Pebbles, Star!, Audrey Rose, and Star Trek: The Motion Picture among them. He was also the last living crew member from Citizen Kane (which he edited).

A very great light has gone out. Wow.

I've been stalking this woman's blog for quite some time, and today I met her in person at last. It was magical. The clouds parted, angels sang, and cartoon animals frolicked about. My coworker's husband worried that he might have to employ the Literary Jaws of Life to pry us apart.

Since we are both "Nashville Bloggers," we sat at lunch with some other Nashville Bloggers to discuss blogging in Nashville. And everyone else at our table tried to ignore us as we carried on conversations about the various personalities of the local blog scene, who all sounded like characters in a Deep Space Reality Show - Sarcastro, Mister Roboto, Tiny Cat Pants, etc. And then we all marvelled at Tim's frighteningly literal application of the phrase "clean your plate."

A good time was had by all (though I will never look at clown cars quite the same way again), but now I have to return to work. *sigh*
