You're gonna be bothered by how cool I am.

Well, I survived our church's second annual Bethlehem Breakfast . . . barely. My boss has been sick, so I hadn't seen her since before I went on vacation, and all these details she had in her head for the event I was somehow magically supposed to know in her absence. It would have been less stressful if she hadn't decided to show up yesterday and freak out about all the little things that weren't quite right. I know it's not her fault she was sick, but it's not my fault either.

*sigh* Anywho, I did enough running around yesterday that I slept like a rock and am quite sore this morning. We have a baby dedication this morning in worship, too - another of my responsibilities. But I'm looking forward to it, because I actually get to bring the baby into the sanctuary. I usually don't get to do that because I'm in the choir loft.

I have received Christmas cards from alphabet26, lilac_bearry, and wahlee_98 so far (thanks, guys!) and I mailed mine out Thursday. But I still haven't done any shopping. And now that my dad has remarried and I have all this new family there's a lot more people to buy for.

Thank goodness for Christmas bonuses.
