If I Never Knew You
Your Disney love song is If I Never Knew You from
Pocahontas (though it was tragically cut from
the movie). It's a sad song about a love so
strong that it's worth dying for.

Happy rest of the week to my non-US friends and Happy Thanksgiving to all you Yanks!

I'm going to Mississippi for the rest of the week to endure the racist, Republican discourse of aunts and uncles and then on further south to spend some time with old friends of our family.

In other news, I splurged last night and bought the extended edition DVDs of both Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. I intended to watch them Monday and Tuesday (the films only) before embarking on my Texas trip, but I woke up early this morning and couldn't resist sneaking a peek at the actors' commentary on FOTR. Billy and Dom are the funniest human beings on the planet. Hearing them talk about the rules and protocol of the made-up game "Tig" was hysterical. I only got through disc 1, but I can't wait to get to the rest (though I suppose I'll have to wait until at least after I get back from TX).

And I should be finished reading LOTR entirely by the end of this week's trip, and hopefully I can get started on my first foray into the novels of Georgette Heyer.
