With all the talk about this new - and now apparently false (thank goodness!) - quote from the author of our favorite wizard books, I thought I'd share an interview I recently found that I had never seen referenced before. Perhaps the reason for its obscurity is that it comes from what appears to be a somewhat scholarly publication and deals more with writing and processes than with "what's going to happen next," which is quite refreshing.
I have copied the whole thing (from Quick Quotes) except for the obligatory intro and bolded what I think are quite interesting quotes in light of the debate hysteria.
( Book Links: July 1999 (v.8 no.6) )
I love what she says about analyzing too much.
