I'm contemplating taking a temporary second job. It's getting to be a pain (not to mention a big hindrance to my job) to only be able to get on the internet at work and at the public library for 15 minutes at a time. So, I have resolved to save money to invest in a computer - preferably a laptop. I figure that if I work for about six months at a part-time job in addition to my regular job, I'll be able to save quite enough to get a top-of-the-line notebook with all the accoutrements. In addition, I should be able to get a couple more gadgets that I've had my eye on.
It SUX not having good enough credit to be able to have an account to put things like that on, but perhaps I will appreciate it more having worked hard for it beforehand. And hopefully in the meantime I can become a little more technologically literate than I am at present.
On a lighter note (and speaking of becoming more technologically literate), I have just successfully burned an audio CD for the first time.
